Once the war had ended ‘73651’ was used by the Royal Engineers at the Longmoor Military Railway for training.  It was renumbered as ‘600’ and named ‘Gordon’ in honour of the Royal Engineers most famous General, Charles Gordon. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eBy the 1960s ‘600’ was the last operational steam locomotive at the LMR and was used for many enthusiast special workings as well as a mainline run between Woking and Liss on 30\/04\/1966. The locomotive’s first British Railways allocation was to March shed. While here the locomotive was renumbered ‘90766’ during 1948. On 9th July 1949 an allocation to 66B Motherwell came followed by a reallocation to 65F Grangemouth on 17th January 1959 where the locomotive remained until withdrawal. By October 1945 the locomotives were deemed surplus to requirements, sold to the Hellenic State Railways and shipped to Salonika in January 1946. ‘76352’ was then renumbered to \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eΛβ\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e951 and based in the Salonika divisions and worked duties such as the Athens - Istanbul Express. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eFinal withdrawal came for \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eΛβ\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e951 in 1979 where it was purchased by enthusiasts, and  repatriated to the Mid Hants Railway where a majority of the foreign parts had been removed to put the engine back to as-built condition. The engine was sold to the Essex Locomotive Society and was based at the North Yorkshire Moors from 1992. By October 1945 the locomotives were deemed surplus to requirements, sold to the Hellenic State Railways and shipped to Salonika in January 1946. ‘73672’ was renumbered \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e \u003cspan\u003eΛβ\u003c\/span\u003e960 and based in the Salonika divisions working duties such as the Athens - Istanbul express. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eFinal withdrawal came in 1979 where it was purchased by Mr. D. Milham and repatriated to the Lavender Line at Isfield, Essex, in August 1984.
