Old Van. New Tricks.

There’s a new kid in town. He’s trying his best to blend in, but he just can’t hide his upbringing. People stare wherever he goes. People who should know better.

Three photographs of a sample model of Clark Railworks' LMS 42ft General Utility Van. The model is in a pink undercoat and the images, from left to right, show its underframe, the model tilted at a 45 degree angle to show bodyside and underframe detail, and an end-on view of the van.

But can you blame them? Because there’s just so much to look at. He's extensively accessorised and flaunts intricate details that makes the other kids green with envy. He's got all the gear. Ripped and toned to perfection, he's a true heavyweight – yet nimble and oh so smooth on his feet. He just glides on by as if he were on brass bearings...

An edited pair of photos to demonstrate the longevity of the LMS 42ft General Utilty Van. the imgae on the left shows Amelia Earheart holding a GUV model painted in LMS crimson lake during the 1930s. The image on the right shows two female nuclear protestors in the 1970s, dressed in hippie-style clothing. One of them is holding a BR blue model of an LMS GUV.

He's been around, with stories to tell. He says he remembers the 1930s, when dressed in a dashing maroon suit he stormed form city to city in the best of company. But he also tells of the 1970s, when he rocked and rolled with the diesel-powered greats.

A close-up image of the Clark Railworks LMS 42ft GUV bodyside.

He's here, there, and everywhere. He calls himself GUV. Plain and simple. See what he can do for you.
