Locomotive History for no. 51218 | BR
The L&YR’s no. 68 entered service in 1901 and survived into nationalisation, when BR renumbered it to 51218. Having wandered to Neath towards the end of its career, the engine was preserved in 1968, when it was renumbered back to No.68.
