Go a Little Crazy with MTC

Model Train Crazy is a new brand based in China that’s making some seriously cool stuff. They’re off to a great start, with a substantial range of HO scale products suitable for all sorts of Continental layouts, and – with a spot of ‘modeller’s licence’ – even some UK scenes.

A row of three MTC HO Scale Road-Rail vehicles, in grey, ornage and yellow liveries. The vehicles are standing in front of railway tracks on a layout, with some filled-in arches as a backdrop.

There are lots of great things about MTC models, but two of the best are that they’re all made from beautifully detailed brass – and at a price normally reserved for the no-frills end of the market.

Two signals from the MTC range of HO scale brass products. On the left is a single post signal, with colour light aspects arranged vertically on the post. On the right is a gantry signal of the sort that would span a single track.

From quirkily endearing Road-Rail vehicles (both analogue and DCC fitted) to a stunning range of working colour light signals, they’re a great opportunity to dip your toe into foreign waters. See the full range here.
